Because it's a play on the word wifely which means like a wife or pertaining to a wife and because it's a fun and memorable name that we hope you'll enjoy.

Our name indicates the bond of friendship and community that we hope to foster on this platform.

The crowns in our logo are a symbol of the bond of marriage, but they are also a symbol of the bond of friendship and community.

As we know as Orthodox, these crowns are the crowns of martyrdom. To die to ourselves and to live for the other. To lay down our lives for our friends. To love one another as Christ loved us.

What is matchmaking?
